Cleveland remains a hub for the performing arts, home to the second largest performing arts district outside of New York City. Since 2009 there have been 58 movies filmed in Cleveland, largely due to the Ohio Motion Picture Tax. While Ohio remains an attractive pick for productions, there is further work to be done to remain competitive with state offering similar incentives.
