Downtown Cleveland Takes Spotlight as Host to IDA Spring Summit

Downtown Cleveland’s emergence as a national model for revitalization takes center stage as it welcomes the International Downtown Association’s (IDA) Spring Summit: IDA Place Matters, from May 7-9, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event will bring together hundreds of industry leaders from across the country and beyond to explore the power of placemaking in shaping vibrant, resilient districts.

The selection of Cleveland’s city center as this year’s host is a testament to Downtown Cleveland, Inc.’s work in transformative development, adaptive reuse and innovative placemaking efforts. Downtown Cleveland President & CEO, Michael Deemer, a dedicated IDA board member, is eager to showcase everything the core has to offer.
